We are pleased to announce the official release of the deepin 25.0.9 update! 🎉

This release includes a number of new features and optimizations, addresses several issues reported by the community, and further refines the user experience across various applications. After updating, your system version will be 25.0.9.

We encourage all users to update at your earliest convenience. Feel free to share your thoughts and feedback in the comments!

🆕 New Features & Improvements

File Manager

Significant optimizations have been made to file preview and management for a smoother and more efficient experience:

• Files can now be grouped by time, size, type, or name for clearer and more organized browsing.
• Auto-scroll is now supported when dragging files to the window edge in list or icon view, improving long-distance drag-and-drop.
• Pinned tabs allow you to keep frequently used directories always accessible in the navigation bar.
• When opening folders from the desktop or third-party apps, a new tab is created in the current window instead of opening a new one, reducing window clutter.
• Improved visual style for selected desktop icons.

App Store

• Improved pop-up messages for app installation timeout scenarios.
• Added an app submission entry in the "More" menu – we welcome everyone to contribute to the app ecosystem!

DDE (Deepin Desktop Environment)

• Optimized clipboard positioning and lock screen wake-up password verification logic.

Others

• Solid System: Reduced disk space usage during system updates and snapshot restoration.
• Screenshot & Screen Recording: Save options have been moved closer to the save button for quicker access, with improved toolbar visuals.
• Theme: Added the new Origin business-style theme. (Note: The Macaron theme will no longer be included in the 25.1 release image.)

🐞 Bug Fixes

• Fixed inaccurate display of clipboard shortcuts.
• Resolved an issue where "Keyboard Overview" under Control Center > Devices appeared in English in Chinese locales.
• Fixed abnormal icon display when launching Firefox from the taskbar.
• Addressed an issue where some third-party apps still appeared after enabling "Hide Third-Party Items" in the file manager.
• Fixed light mode not restoring properly after restarting the text editor.
• Corrected icon display for the UOS Windows Compatibility Engine in the launcher under Macaron or Flow themes.
• Resolved interface scaling issues for some apps in 4K resolution.
• Eliminated duplicate update prompts for certain system packages.
• Fixed incorrect file sorting when names contained multiple decimal points.

⚠️ Known Issues

• Text editor theme initialization error.
• Enabling flight mode and clicking the Bluetooth icon in the plugin panel may cause display issues.
• Occasional duplicate app icons in the taskbar.
