    I am currently developing Top Island (like a notch) for Deepin 25
     
    It will provide the following basic features:
     
    – Display of the time and date
    – Mute detection with icon display
    – Ability to temporarily move Top Island
    – Display above or below other applications
     
     
    Additional modules can then be activated as needed:
     
     
    # Module 1 – Timer (Planned)
     
    # Module 2 – Passive security:  (Planned)
    – Webcam usage detection
    – Microphone usage detection
    – Option to display the program using these two devices
     
    # Module 3 – Battery  (Planned)
    – Notification when the battery reaches 25% to start charging
    – Notification when the battery reaches 80% to stop charging
    – Use new notification sounds specific to Top Island
     
    # Module 4 - Lock/Unlock  (Planned)
    – Use a Bluetooth device (smartphone or other) to unlock and lock your session
     
    # Other modules planned in futur ...

    Its use can be further extended. However in the current (above) shape it looks neat. Especially inside any full screen app eg. video playback, games.
