Pregunto lo mismo, lo ideal sería poder actualizar sin perder lo que tengo hoy.

There doesn't seem to be a tool available for upgrading from 23.1 to 25 (even though there was one for upgrading from 20.9 to 23). Everyone seems to be recommeding a fresh install.

I think if you want to maintain your home folder, you need to make sure it's on a separate partition, but I'm very new to linux so I don't really know how to do it.

Edit:
So I tried doing a clean and stall and specifying my existing /home partition as the one to use for the /home partition and not to format, but it didn't work. So I'm starting from scratch.

People should adopt flatpak use for all apps, in that way you dont loose anything like app preferences, sessions, user data contained in apps, you just have to move all the content inside /home/myuser/.var/app/ to an external drive and thats it, do a fresh install, install all programs again, then move all the content you saved to the new created folder in the fresh installed deepin /home/myuser/.var/app and thats is, all will be there.
