Linux系统理论上能否支持“重启进入固件”

一般的Windows 8.x品牌机默认是开启了“快速启动”或“超快速启动”的并且系统本身默认采用休眠而非关机的方式。
如果需要进入UEFI设置，需要在Windows 8.x系统设置中找到“重启进入UEFI”功能（藏得很深）。
考虑到UEFI相对于BIOS是更加规范化的，那么Linux系统有无可能在理论上支持这一选项？（假设安全启动可以并且已经关闭）
