2025-05-16 03:14 deepin I would wait a bit on 25 Alpha. Still a number of usibility issues that are being worked on. Consider keeping v23 and installing v25A on another drive or partition to play with.
As far as third-party repos go, it might be worth you while to install Flatpak instead of mucking things up with additional repos. Just like on Ubuntu, adding ppas can really get out of hand!
I have this working on both v.23 and 25A.

[Important Notes] deepin 25 Alpha Update Advisory (14 May 2025) 
I am notified that updates are available, specifically “Third Party Repo”. I start the download process and notice that there is a blue bar on the right side of the screen informing me of the “Backup in Progress” progressing indicating a percentage of work completed. At some point, however, “System Backup Failed” appears and then the update no longer goes forward. I have tried turning my notebook off and on several times but the result does not change. Can you help me to solve it? But if I want to upgrade my version 23.1 to version 25 Alpha, how can I proceed?
