Linux version 6.1.32-amd64-desktop-hwe ([email protected]) (gcc (Deepin 13.2.0-3deepin) 13.2.0, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Deepin) 2.41) #23.01.00.20 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu Jan 11 18:45:10 CST 2024
I get the Failed to start tor.service: Unit tor.service not found. error.
I have installed Tor from the official website, then tried the latest alpha build, then installing it through flatpak.
I looked for Tor on the deepin app store, as I saw from another thread in this forum, but there is no tor for me there.
I have followed this step by step instructions on how to install it too:
https://tutorialforlinux.com/2018/02/20/how-to-install-tor-browser-on-deepin-linux-easy-guide/2/
I have tried many things. It will not connect or have a service to start.
Can anybody help?
Thanks,
Gabriel

Have you tried the TOR Bundle? It runs independently from everything else in its own folder.
Hi,
I've been struggling to make Tor work.
