    请教个问题，我在尝试deepin自带的mail客户端时，没有一次成功过。总是提示connection failed，please check your email and password. 首先这肯定不是我邮箱密码的问题，天天用的邮箱不可能密码错误。另外我尝试了国内的sina邮箱和gmail，都不行。有人遇到类似的情况吗？会不会和我用的英文版，或是地址在海外有关？

    是这样的，这里输入的不是密码是你开同pop3，等协议后给你的唯一验证码。

    需要的不是密码，是密钥，SMTP或者其他的密钥，密钥需要到邮箱web端获取

    感觉英文的那个"password "有些迷惑。不过gmail里貌似也叫app password
