  • The system just checks up the newest version and download the patch. However, these two functions can be disabled at the Update Settings.

I installed the latest version of Deepin, but that runs really slow on my computer. So I tried to get 20 beta in, which runs at a good speed, but from what I can see, it updates the dde, and app store on its own. Once this happens, I am unable to use my password, or open the control panel. So how can I get it not to do that?

In my opinion, there must be something unexpected

  • So, I will strongly suggest you going back to Deepin 20.5 with a higher kernel version 5.15. It may partly solve your trouble. The install option can be chosen from the Advanced entrance at the Boot Page
  • uBuntuDDE may be the another option
