Hello there,
Deepin 20.5 based on Debian 10 . I know that is a really old system, but deepin use unique repos not de debian official. So it would be good that some specific packages that is really out of date, that update the deepin team.
Two example:
Snap:
Need newer libseccomp2 and a more newer snapd
VAAPI support in Chrome browser (with intel/NVIDIA card):
Need Libva >=2.11.0 (and dependencies)
VAAPI not really, but Snap i think is important. Now it not possible to use it, most of snap packages are need new version of snapd.
I know, Deepin 23 is solve most of problems, but no exact release date yet. It would be good that this things are working the remeaning time.
Now, Deepin biggest problem the old dependencys i think. All other thing is good, if you able to fix it, Deepin would be one of the best Linux distro!
