After adding the input method, you can use the shortcut keys to switch, but for the English keyboard layout or German keyboard layout that you use in the language switching process, you need to manually switch.

In other distributions I use alt and shift to change the keyboard language. Αnd this is shown in the task bar.

I also have a problem with keyboard layouts. I had this problem on every version 20x and the distro is not usable if i can't switch to Greek 🙁 I realy like deepin but this must be fixed. On 20.8 the keyboard layout changes without a problem with the default shortcut or with any custom one but... even if the keyboard is switched (for example from english to greek), inside apps i write with the previous language. This happens randomly with chrome, firefox, libreoffice, chat apps etc. Also it happens after swiching to greek or english (it still keeps the previous language although the icon on the tray changes as it should).
