deepin I suppose they're designed for cinnamon desktop or S.E. , while deepin has its own DDE desktop, the interfaces aren't compatible.
So far I haven't seen any desklets working on dde-desktop, just animated wallpapers.

Hello everyone. I just have a quick question.
Can anyone tell me if there is any desktop widgets programs that will work on Deepin 20? I have tried installing Screenets, desklets and none of them will install on this OS. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get widgets on my desktop?
