mate不是很好看

我刚刚滚回cinnamon了，因为作死装pantheon不成还把mate搞坏了

其实mate的界面也有其可取之处，qt程序的界面在mate下比在cinnamon下看起来更正常

还有一件很诡异的事情，我在cinnamon上搞好的自动旋转到了mate下就不可用了。不过mate打算支持wayland，还专门做了个叫mate-wayland的snap包，所以我会继续观望的。

原生的触屏支持，我就看中这一点。在xorg下，触摸操作默认识别为鼠标点击。我只要用surface pen在xournal++或者其他支持书写的软件里写一写画一画，全局的触摸操作立即失效，除了几个能够辨别触摸操作的应用外全部无法用手指触控，只能用笔点点点。好在onboard是可以识别触摸操作的，不然你想象一下我在不装物理键盘的情况下怎么用笔在触摸键盘上打字吧……虽然这不是什么很大的毛病，但我觉得这大概率是xorg的锅。

KDE于我，最大的竞争力就在于可定制性。
现在DDE虽说好看，但可定制性似乎不足。
