Hi, considering switching from Ubuntu 19.04lts to Deepin, either 15.11 or wait for the new version 20 that is coming soon.

I have been using Thunderbird for years as my email under Ubuntu so want to make sure I can download and install and use this email application in Deepin.

Also, can I install and use Snap packages in Deeepin?

Sure.

sudo apt install -y snapd

Copy the Code

Then you can use snap install to install apps from Snapcraft.

Sure.

Reading other threads I have seen comments like... SNAP in Deepin is borked and only Flatpak works. So what is the true story... is SNAP fully working OK? TJ
