Hello

I have updated my machine and it says I run 15.11, but if I run "cat   /etc/apt/sources.list |grep panda" (based on the deepin announcement) I get:

-------

deb [by-hash=force] http://packages.deepin.com/deepin panda main contrib non-free
# deb-src http://packages.deepin.com/deepin panda main contrib non-free

-------

Which now does not make sense to me. Am I on a 15.11 Unstable version or what? And can I proceed to update my Kernel from 4.15.0-29 to 5.0? I found this neat guide to follow: http://www.theubuntumaniac.com/2019/03/update-install-linux-kernel-50-on.html

Not sure about the first question, but I would not use the Ubuntu kernels on Deepin. I was never able to boot into the system after trying Ubuntu's kernel on Deepin.
This however works perfectly, 5.1 kernel

Do you have it running on 15.11 unstable version too?

If you want to use the stable version, you need to download the latest image to reinstall

Deepin official website does not provide a way to go from unstable version to stable version.

If you want to change the kernel securely, you can visit this link: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/
There is a packaged kernel here. After the installation is complete, you need to update the boot: sudo update-grub, then restart it.
