桌面如何添加快捷方式？

看到桌面上好像只能新建文件夹，能建立快捷方式什么的吗？
我是一个前端开发者，下载了一个WebStorm，不知道怎么加到开始菜单或者桌面（Linux使用经验甚少，只知道./configure和make其他的全不知道了）
这个WebStorm也是个奇葩，运行的方式，竟然是运行bin文件夹下面的一个webstorm.sh脚本
请教各位高手，如何在桌面或者开始菜单添加快捷方式呢？

额。。。不好意思，自己找到方法了，右键Make link就可以了
