Upgrade done, restart done.

You fixed many issues and that's great, thanks! Now, I've got a brand new one: wifi does not work anymore on my hp pavilion dv6... My wifi card is on, but there's nothing I can do from the network settings: it's like it doesn't even know what wifi is... Has anybody got a solution (better than using my girlfriend's computer, I mean...) ? Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the whole stuff or have you guys got a better idea?

Thanks a lot!

clement

Hi, welcome to the Deepin Forum. If you have upgraded from 15.1  please try In the Advanced options grub the fallback Kernel 4.2

Might be a problem with the Kernel though most issues reported are with usb dongle's  Did you try the above method, the fall back kernel in Advanced options at boot time ?

please try to uninstall the bcmwl-kernel-source package, that would help.

Yes. I booted into kernel 4.2.0-1 and still no wifi until plugging in a wifi dongle or adapter. When I boot into the new 4.4 kernel a wifi adapter does not work. I'm using a Gateway NE56R41u laptop. I also upgraded to 15.2 from 15.1 on a Kangaroo mini pc and all went well, including wifi connection.
