Making Fstab Accessible

In hindsight setting up the fstab file for my second HDD to automount was something that would fustrate people new to Linux. Wouldn't it be a good idea to incorporate under 'Boot Options'? I believe GUIs already exist for it. Just thought I'd mention that.

That is a interesting idea but wonder how technically feasible covering all the possible options in a GUI would be.

Thanks. What's stopping it as being as simple as translating the UUID of attached drives to names and then having an auto-mount check box for each (barring the OS drive)? The details of fstab could be left in fstab for advanced users, I imagnie.

on kali and other distros came with gnome seemed to offer this gui in the app gnome disk
