Whenever I close the last application on a workspace (type exit to the terminal, or press the close button), the program terminates properly, but the desktop won't respond for a while (I cannot change workspace, or go to any application I have opened somewhere else, nor use my hotkeys to open other applications). After some time, the system recovers though. The recovery time is ~10-15 seconds, so it's more annoying than a big issue, it still feels bad (especially when I am about to shutdown my computer and I have to wait 10 seconds/workspace to do it // move all apps to the same workspace).

I have a conky demon running on the desktop, can it be the cause?
