This could be done on homescreen of the "settings" (right panel)... Replace the "icons" by a timeline of Notifications, and add a numbered badge on the icon on the bottom launcher...

2016-04-26 20:23 deepin About that global dark theme. It would be perfect if you could exclude apps of it too like Gimp, Open Office, Inkscape wich doesn't play nice with dark themes. That one thing always bugged me in Gnome and would make customation options superior compared to another desktops.
