    Hi,

    I tried to enable the japanese (anthy) input, but i could not find it in the keyboard layout list. I had the same problem before with Ubuntu Kylin and i tought it would be enough to install those packages, that fixed this under Ubuntu Kylin.
    The packages are:

    • ibus-anthy (was already install)
    • xfonts-intl-japanese
    • xfonts-intl-japanese-big
    • xfonts-jisx0213
    • xfonts-kaname
    • xfonts-shinonome
    • fonts-kanjistrokeorders
    • im-config
    • kasumi
    But now it wasn't the case. The packages were in the official source, therefore i could install them easily. But after installing those packages, there is still no japanese anthy input in the list (as it's shown below).

    So how to enable that input method?

    Hi, In addtion to ibus-anthy package I would check to see if Japanese Anthy input sources are in your Debian Region and Language settings.

    Hi,

    what do you mean on Debian Region and Language settings? Because the only thing i want is the Japanese input, nothing else (e.g. GUI on Japanese language).

    PS: I don't know why the picture is not shown. I had some problem viewing that image but i thought it's something related to my computer or internet, but it isn't (i'm writing this from another computer at school and still no image)

    I was able to open the screen shot. You are saying the keyboard layout does not show up in the Deepin Control Center. In that case I would use Deepin User Feedback.

    I've managed to fix the screenshot in school (corrected it's URL), but the keyboard layout still doesn't show up. I'll use the Deepin User Feedback as you recommended.

    Okay thank you, If possible a Deepin Screen Shot would be better to send them. The print screen key on keyboard can take a screen shot of the Deepin Control Center.
