Hello,

Am trying to install icub simulator form here using the following directions:

Add www.icub.org to your sources.list. Determine the Linux distribution you use.

E.g. for Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty (Note: you need to adapt these instructions according to your distribution).

sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://www.icub.org/ubuntu trusty contrib/science" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/icub.list' (replace trusty with the name of the distribution).

For Debian 7.0 Wheezy(Note: you need to adapt these instructions according to your distribution).

sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://www.icub.org/debian wheezy contrib/science" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/icub.list'

Install only the package icub-common:

sudo apt-get install icub-common
After adding the first repo when i update the system: apt-get update the system halts. I have also noticed that generally apt-get update is lagging and consuming too much time.

The system doesn't proceed this point and remains silent.

Hi, Welcome to the Deepin Forum. Deepin. 15.1.1 is based on Debian 8.4 (sid) I do not know if your pre-compiled Debian 7 binaries from the third party application are compatible or not.

I am not familiar with ICub but another option might be to install the windows version using Virtual Box solution.
