Never mind that setting Minimize to tray only affects closing the player

I did, but on next login it's window visible again. Clementine remembers state of window so I was thinking deepin music players have same behaviour, but no.

Yes does not appear there is a way to do that from the settings

I think you would have to modify your ~/config/deepin-music-player configuration file
