Add only with good reason. Never add just to add more. Avoid gimmicks, gadgets, distractions, etc. I like hidden panels/shelves that desktop clutter can be placed on. I like menus with well-designed categories and duplication, if appropriate. I really like menus that are context specific but allow you to access the entire menu system. I like applications that are efficient - small and fast. I like modules and the ability to load and unload, especially when running on limited resources. I don't like a huge, everything-for-everyone OS like Windows. With access to the Debian repositories almost everything and anything is available. The store is terrific, but other means to customize and personalize could improve. The most important things would be ways to undo and uninstall. Users change their minds about what they want ... frequently.

1) deepin needs a pre-installed antivirus software like Qihoo 360 Security
2) deepin needs a pre-installed office suite like WPS Office also for non-chinese language releases instead of LibreOffice that has an ancient GUI.
3) deepin development team may collaborate with the SteamOS development team to optimize the CPU, GPU and APU drivers performance (Intel, Nvidia and AMD hardware components).
4) deepin needs a CPU cores activity monitor, GPU activity monitor, RAM capacity and size monitor, SWAP capacity and size monitor, main board temperature monitor on Desktop through widgets (like Rainmeter or CAM do for Microsoft Windows NT based operating systems).

deepin doesn't need antivirus, this is not like windows

wps office is pre-installed in deepin 2015

Deepin needs to win developers. And in my point of view you should serve them with the best experience out of the box they'll like it very much and therefore they'll probably extend it in some way for free.

First you you should give them a default text editor they know and like as much as possible. So think about integrate GitHubs Atom from atom.io.

Then think about to detach the deep integration of network manager with your dde. In fact I dislike it to have to type my password once before the connection to my development web server is available because deepin doesn't use the interfaces file out of the box but it uses gnomes-network-manager.

Thanks to Wuhan Deepin Technology I am a new member of the beta testing team and I have seen the new great deepin store but guess what for not Chinese people it is not as great as for people from the mainland. Why?

Because they cant read other languages than there own and English. At least most of them . So why do you have cooperation with cloud services in china where there websites den't contain at least a English translation. Jep I talk about Baidu Cloud and 360yunpan. WTF should I use these services when I do not understand the description about them and why sould I use such kind of services as long as they are not internationalised . So please do ot show thinks to me I can't understand. Thats what I like to say in common.
Why there is no international version of the store and a localized version for the mainland and Chinese people? Don't take me wrong this sounds loke bothering bot what should someone in Germany do with a cloud service in china where he oer she can read a bit if there are mediafire and googledrive as well. and why should such person use a nice looking software hub when every three minutes there is a billboard that contains text for software or software as a service from china in a language he or she don't understand? I hope you see my point here.

In short: 1.
Make it more friendly for developers
2. Please take a screwdriver and drive the internationalization project much faster and deeper than you did before

Than Deepin will Rock like a Rocket and your community will be as wide and international as Ubuntu's community already is.

Deepins niche dde and your designers have so much potential so goddamn why don't you start to use it?

I hope I didn't get banned just for being so honest and open to you folks.

To be more constructive Let deepin work with VM-Wares unity mode just like Ubuntu did may leed to new target groups because VM-Ware is used by companies to visualize linux programms they need for there work why not to extend support for vm-ware and virtual-box to get a better out of the box preformance and show deepins nice desktop and services to people you didn't have had even on your note sheets by now.

No No No, No widgets, not mascots nothing, Do not make the OS heavy , simple and fast is the best thing.
People that want these things, better download them from Deepin Store!
And NO ANTIVIRUS! Linux do not need AV for god sake!
Make the operating system more well functional , less bugs, faster, too many features do not needed, KDE is for this and nobody likes it

Antimalaware are never effective, new malware are always the issue not the old outdated
Deepin store has safe application that new users can use, if you are an advanced user, you don't need an antimalware
The only thing I believe is necessary is more apps in Deepin store, like Spotify, Sonarr, Viber, Facebook messenger...

To have a dark theme you just need to use "gnome-tweak-tool" (install it if you haven't yet) and activate the "Global Dark Theme" in "Appearance". Simple and easy, no extra theme install is required!

There is no such thing as 100% secure. Still, comparing to MS Windows, it's way more difficult to run malware in Linux specially if it's a desktop system without any server service running/installed and there is a lot less malware available to it, currently. Possible, yes.

We need more costumizable desktop. I would like a Top bar with clocks and indicators for Terminal, Veriety and stuff like that
