Hi,
I've noticed that if I log in with my HDMI connected, the only audio device I have available in the sound settings area is the HDMI, ie. I can't connect use the headphones output on my laptop if I logged in while HDMI was connected. If I log in without HDMI connected and then connect it, the HDMI audio device doesn't come up at all.
Any ideas?

¿What is your kernel version? if is 3.19 Try to update your kernel to 4.1.2
