I have installed Deepin on my Lenovo thinkpad X230 laptop. Everything worked fine except I was getting screen tearing when playing videos and or games. The laptop has an intel HD 4000 chipset. The only fix I could find for this was to add the following lines to the file 20-intel.conf:
This fixes screen tearing on the laptop. However I am having a problem where, when the file manager is open, the screen will occasionally flicker garbage for a split second before correcting itself. It does this usually either when the file manager is open or I have a video open above it. It's not a hardware fault, as I have only noticed this problem since using Deepin. The laptop is running 64bit Deepin and has 8gb ram.
I am wondering if this is anything to do with the compiz settings, but there doesn't seem to be any easy way to access this and am not sure what I would need to change in any case.
