Since I've been using Deepin, before I reach the login screen, I get a black screen with this message :
Error: Malformed file
Press any key to continue...
I followed some advice from Ask Ubuntu which stated the following:
edit /etc/default/grub and add:
# If you want to enable the save default function, uncomment the following# line, and set GRUB_DEFAULT to saved.GRUB_SAVEDEFAULT=true
After saving the file update grub:
sudo update-grub
It worked, but I was curious if anyone else had the same issue? It seems to be something that bled from Ubuntu.

As of today, it doesn't work. Does anyone experience this with Deepin and other Ubuntu-based distros?

Check your input. That works really well for me I have found out if you reinstall deepin from its repositorys the error is gone. So it seems this bug has been fixed.

Did you just suggest I reinstall Deepin? Isn't the new distro set to release soon?
