Well, I was able to solve my problem by installing network-manager gnome and then following this guide http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index. ... ifi-hotspot-ubuntu/ . After making the hotspot i uninstalled network-manager -gnome because of its poor integration with the deepin environment and hotspot is still working (probably because of common backend) .

For a guy who has made only 2 posts, you have really high expectations. When you speak about us in a negative way, we really don't care to support you as none of us are being paid. You should search with Google more often before posting and complaining in a community that you haven't invested any time in. But maybe that is why you struggle so much, you want the world to revolve around you.

Hello!

I am trying to create a wifi hotspot. I am connected to the ethernet network, and I simply want to share the internet with my roommate. However, in the FAQ section I have found this:
"Q: How to enable Wi-Fi hotspot?
A: Currently the system does not provide this feature, but not all network cards support this feature."
Does it really mean I can not simply create a hotspot in Deepin?

I have tried to create a wifi network also through Gnome Network Manager, but I can't see the network.

My wireless network adapter is Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 / AR9565. Is it possible it does not support hotspot creating?

I apologise if my questions are too vague, but I am just a poor noob.

Thank you in advance!
