    I'm facing issues with viber and skype - when using hebrew:

    * viber uses a terrible font (I can't seem to find a way to fix that)
    * skype can't render dots when they come in the context of hebrew (replaces them with squares)

    I don't have these issues with a regular installation of Ubuntu 14.04. Any ideas?

    Ok - so I found out that - in chrome, when applying
    1. font-family: arial, serif;
    Copy the Code
    I'm getting the messed up font (while
    1. sans-serif
    Copy the Code
    works just fine). I'm guessing this is what viber is configured to do too - use "serif" as its font. Currently viber doesn't offer an option to select which font to use. I'm sending them an email about it, hopefully with good results. If anyone has any bright idea what to do I'd love to hear

    It seems to have been fixed, but I have no idea what did it (I installed a few packages, but I can't tell if any of them helped or maybe it was just a weird glitch).

    Yes, because we push the update once two weeks, so this problem is fixed by us.

    Maybe related - I have the same exact problem with chrome web apps (Google Keep for example), which generally behaves kinda buggy
