Hi, I have the same problem, AltGr key work like Alt key in US International with dead keys keyboard lay-out.
I edit the /etc/default/keyboard file, they have some keyboard configurations, but nothing happens.
Waiting for ideas too...

I use Deepin 2014 RC with the English language and have selected the US International with dead keys keyboard lay-out. All characters of the keyboard function properly but it is not possible to type the special French, German and Spanish characters. Also AltGr+5 gives a blank instead of the Euro sign. With Ubuntu and Mint on the same laptop this problem does not exist.
Any ideas on how to make it work properly?

You can try this：
1、set keyboard layout to 'English (international AltGr dead keys)'
2、set alt_r to AltGr

gsettings set com.deepin.dde.keyboard layout-options "['compose:ralt']"

sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration

I try jouyouyun solution and I can do this ü, but with a stranger keys combination AltGr + Shift + ' + u, when i did always AltGr + y.

When I try htoratsa solution, I choose US with dead keys, Alt_r, but after reboot nothing happens. If works for him, then Im doing something wrong.

I'm using a laptop (HP Pavilion DV6) it has a keyboard with the numerical keyboard on the right. I run the command I've mentioned and chose the following options through the process;

- Generic PC 105 keys English (EE. UU.)
- English (EE. UU.) - English (international with dead keys ALT Gr)
- Right ALT (AltGr)
- Without modifier key

After this the keyboard is immediately working, without rebooting.
I hope you can solve this annoying problem ;) .

Someone could set the keyboard to English (international AltGr dead keys)?
I have tried several methods without much success.

1- set keyboard layout to 'English (international AltGr dead keys)'
2- set alt_r to AltGr

gsettings set com.deepin.dde.keyboard layout-options "['compose:ralt']"
(nothing happens)

AND

sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration
(This method has allowed me to set it temporarily, but after restarting the session configuration is lost. )

Any suggestions please
