    Actually, there are changes on your folder icons. But the icons on desktop or dock will not change. As for using other icon themes, you need to download new themes, such as http://gnome-look.org/index.php? ... 7& for desktop themes, and http://gnome-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=120x121 for icon themes. And there you will know how to install them.

    I can't figure it out! I downloaded gnome-tweak-tool and tried changing from there, but nothing happens. I restarted too. Has anyone else changed the icons and if so how?

    Oh and also I can use Ubuntu icon themes right?
