    能不能安装打印机要看有木有打印机的驱动，有些型号的驱动在linux找不到的

    这个跟系统没有关系，楼主需要查询HP的官方是否提供HP deskjet 3558 for linux的驱动

    HP的还好，一般的都能支持，不支持也可以在网上找到相关的驱动

    还不错，我的HP3050  连接好后，打开打印机电源，自动识别安装的驱动，一切正常
