Key Updates

● Intelligent Search Is Now Available: File Manager and Global Search now support more natural ways to find local files. You can search with phrases such as “financial spreadsheets modified yesterday,” “design images on the desktop,” “downloaded installers,” “PDFs from WeChat,” or “videos larger than 1 GB.” The system uses clues such as time, file type, location, source, and file size, together with file names, document content, and text in images, to help you find files more easily.

● File Management and Search Improvements: File indexing, document parsing, and image text search have been further optimized, improving stability in local file retrieval, indexing updates, Recent files, SMB authorization, external storage, and partition encryption scenarios.

● DDE Desktop Experience Enhancements: Control Center, system daemon, network core, clipboard, and system update UI components, this release further improves desktop stability and daily settings experiences.

● Common Applications and Runtime Updates: Common components including Document Viewer, Image Viewer, Album, Camera, Font Manager, Calendar, Log Viewer, Package Installer, Input Method Configuration, and Voice Notes have been optimized. The Linyaps runtime has also been updated to 1.13.8 to improve display, startup, and runtime compatibility for Linyaps applications.

● System Upgrade, Peripheral Compatibility, and Security Fixes: Fixed backup and upgrade issues in the Immutable System, updated printing, scanning, fingerprint, wireless, graphics, and related compatibility components, and integrated multiple security fixes for glib2.0, OpenSSH, CUPS, ffmpeg, OpenVPN, and more.

1. File Management and Search

● Added intelligent semantic search to File Manager and global search. Users can search with natural-language clues such as "financial spreadsheets modified yesterday", "design images on the desktop", "downloaded installers", "PDFs from WeChat", "videos larger than 1 GB", and "documents edited yesterday";

● Intelligent semantic search can parse user expressions into structured conditions such as time, type, location, source, action, and attributes, and combine them with existing filename search, content search, and OCR search;

● Updated file indexing and document parsing components to improve filename search, content retrieval, and indexing update stability;

● Optimized image text search indexing to improve stability when finding local images by text contained in images;

● Optimized DVD+/-RW disc erase handling to improve optical media operations.

2. DDE

● Updated DDE components including Control Center, system daemon, network core, clipboard, and system update UI to improve settings, network, update, and clipboard experiences;

● Optimized desktop interaction details in Control Center, Launcher, keyboard status, and touchpad pages.

3. Common Applications and Runtime

● Updated common applications including Document Viewer, Image Viewer, Album, Font Manager, Calendar, Camera, and Log Viewer to improve display, interaction, and stability;

● Optimized Input Method Configuration and touch input adaptation to improve usability in some input scenarios;

● Optimized Package Installer adaptation to improve application installation and dependency handling;

● Updated the Linyaps runtime to 1.13.8 to improve installation, display, startup, and runtime compatibility for Linyaps applications;

● Updated Qt6, Qt6 Wayland, Qt6 SVG, Qt6 Declarative, and Qt6 compatibility modules to strengthen application runtime foundations.

● Updated ipp-usb support components, CUPS, and Avahi to enhance USB printing and network service discovery;

● Updated SANE frontends and HPLIP-related components to improve scanning and printing device adaptation;

● Added related adaptation for Pingshi fingerprint drivers to improve fingerprint recognition on some devices;

● Updated Phytium platform graphics adaptation to improve display and brightness adjustment experiences on some devices;

● Updated linux-firmware to add ath12k wireless device support;

● Updated NVIDIA-related components and GPU tools to improve selected graphics device experiences.

5. Basic Components and Security

● Updated basic components such as curl, 7zip, tiff, mpv, libinput, xorg, vim, nss, PipeWire and Qt6 to improve system stability, security, and compatibility;

● Optimized btrfs compression, installer mount configuration, and sw64/Loong64 architecture adaptation;

● Fixed compatibility issues related to X.Org, GTK file dialogs, input devices, and graphics display.

II. Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements

1. File Management and Search

● Fixed a possible crash log issue when closing the search window immediately after triggering a search;

● Fixed an issue where image text search indexing could stop updating for a long time;

● Fixed an issue where opening recent:// before File Manager was opened could show an incorrect page;

● Fixed display issues when combining the file save dialog with Recent files settings;

● Fixed SMB authorization failures after waiting for authentication;

● Fixed abnormal right-click menu status after interrupting partition encryption cancellation.

2. DDE

● Fixed abnormal sound feedback when unmuting through the volume bar in Control Center;

● Fixed inconsistent status between external USB keyboard Num Lock indicators and Control Center switches;

● Fixed abnormal keyboard selection after switching Launcher between full-screen and window modes;

● Fixed page position flickering when slowly scrolling to the bottom of the touchpad page in Control Center;

● Fixed an auto-start issue after updating some Linyaps applications.

3. Immutable System and System Update

● Fixed an issue where OSTree repository damage or missing key file objects during backup could cause system update failures;

● Optimized OSTree repository recovery to improve backup and upgrade reliability;

● Fixed an authentication handling issue when the system update backend installed dependencies in certain environments;

● Optimized system update UI and backend components to improve update stability.

4. Common Applications

● Fixed blurry display when zooming in on long images in Image Viewer;

● Fixed a possible Camera freeze after opening a recorded video and operating again;

● Fixed issues where Movie could show corrupted video output or freeze during long playback;

● Fixed Mail group tooltip and combined filtering result issues;

● Fixed interaction and layout issues in Voice Notes, including moving notes, search box display, navigation bar hover state, and folding behavior;

● Fixed security baseline issues in Log Viewer;

● Optimized Camera startup logging to reduce unnecessary terminal output.

● Fixed missing UI elements after installing or updating some Linyaps applications;

● Fixed an issue where the Linyaps version of Mail could fail to start after an update;
