When trying to use dde-cooperation on deepin with an Android smartphone, I encountered a problem obtaining the necessary application, UOS Assistant. Since the app is not available on the Play Store, installation depends on a manual download via APK.

The system itself displays a QR code that directs to the page https://www.chinauos.com/resource/assistant. However, this page is entirely in Chinese and does not have a direct download button for the application, making the process unintuitive, especially for users outside of China.

Curiously, there is an Android icon at the top of the page which, when clicked, reveals a second QR code. This new code leads directly to the APK file (https://cdimage-download.chinauos.com/tools/UOSAssistant_latest_release.apk). In other words, the download exists, but it is hidden in a somewhat unclear and inconsistent flow.

Furthermore, the APK download speed tends to be quite slow for users in other regions, such as the West.

As a suggestion, it would be important to consider publishing UOS Assistant on the Play Store, which would make the process safer and more accessible. If this is not feasible, at least it would be advisable to adjust the official page to include a direct download button, offer an English version, and, if possible, provide mirrors or CDNs with better global performance — something that is already done, for example, with deepin ISOs.

In its current state, this workflow hinders the use of dde-cooperation and may deter less experienced users or those who are not comfortable installing external APKs.
