I am experiencing issues with Linyaps applications on deepin 25 after updates. Below are two cases:

Case 1: org.mozilla.firefox-nal

On March 27, the app store showed Firefox Linyaps version 149, however:

  • The update was not available for download
  • The update button was not displayed
  • The command sudo ll-cli upgrade reported that everything was up to date

On the following day, Firefox would not start at all and did not even appear in the System Monitor.

While investigating via terminal:

  • ll-cli list showed that version 149 was installed
  • Running ll-cli run org.mozilla.firefox-nal reported that the package org.deepin.runtime.dtk was not installed

After installing this package, trying to run Firefox again resulted in the system reporting that Firefox itself was not installed.

Additional attempts:

  • ll-cli install org.mozilla.firefox-nal --force → installation error
  • The store still showed Firefox as installed
  • ll-cli uninstall org.mozilla.firefox-nal indicated that multiple versions were installed

Even after removing older versions, the issue persisted.
The only solution was to completely remove Firefox and reinstall it.

Case 2: org.deepin.editor

After a silent update (no user notification), the application stopped working.

Solution:

  • Manual removal
  • Reinstallation

System: deepin 25.0.13 (Internal Testing Channel)
