A new round of beta testing for deepin 25 (system version 25.0.13) is now officially available in the beta channel! This release addresses several high-frequency bugs reported by the community.
Users already enrolled in the beta program are encouraged to update promptly. Community members who meet the criteria are also welcome to enable the beta channel for early access to the latest features. Your valuable feedback will help us further refine the system.
Beta Update Content for March 9, 2026
Bug Fixes:
1.Fixed multiple kernel security vulnerabilities in deepin 25 to enhance overall system security.
2.Fixed system stability issues that could occur during suspend, resume, and reboot scenarios.
3.Fixed system update failures and abnormal rollback prompts triggered via Control Center, and optimized abnormal interruption handling during solid system updates.
5.Fixed File Manager issues related to Vault encryption algorithm reset, missing space warnings, and abnormal context menus under SMB/FTP scenarios.
6.Fixed abnormal continuous logging in Terminal and UI display issues under DTK scaling scenarios.
7.Fixed high CPU usage, stuttering, and noise issues in Cinema and Music under specific hardware and Bluetooth (A2DP) scenarios.
8.Fixed App Store loading failure under IPv6 and certain application installation failures.
9.Fixed issues where UOS AI failed to load properly, knowledge base responses were not applied, Chinese NLP input could not be cleared properly, and certain architecture features were unavailable.
10.Fixed other known issues and optimized continuous integration processes (including community kernel synchronization and kwin branch merging).
🧭 How to Participate in the Beta?
Eligibility Criteria
✅ Forum level ≥ 4
✅ Account with no violation records and good activity. (Recommended) Familiarity with basic Linux operations, such as terminal commands and log viewing.
Enrollment Process
Open Control Center → System Update → Update Settings, then go to Advanced Settings.
Enable the Beta Channel switch at the bottom.
After your browser opens, log in to the forum and agree to the "deepin Operating System Beta Testing Experience Program Agreement".
Return to Control Center and check for updates to upgrade to the beta version.
⚠️ Note: The beta version may be unstable. It is recommended to test in a virtual machine or on a secondary device and back up important data beforehand.
