Title: Deepin App Store shows “Loading failed” and filesystem becomes read-only

Description:
Hello everyone,

I am facing an issue with Deepin OS App Store. The App Store always shows “Loading failed” and does not load any content.

Here is what I have already checked and tried:

  1. Internet connection is working fine.
  2. apt update and system repositories are working correctly.
  3. I reinstalled the Deepin App Store.
  4. I cleared cache and configuration files.
  5. I changed DNS to Google (8.8.8.8) and Cloudflare (1.1.1.1).
  6. I tested server connectivity and ping to the App Store backend is working.
  7. I restarted the App Store daemon and verified it is active.

However, the issue still persists. The App Store always shows “Loading failed”.

Additionally, I noticed another serious issue:
Some system directories such as /usr/share have become read-only, and I cannot write files there. For example:

touch: cannot touch '/usr/share/testfile': Read-only file system

This suggests that the filesystem might have switched to read-only mode automatically.

Questions:

  • Is this a known issue in Deepin OS?
  • Could this be related to App Store backend or CDN routing?
  • Why did the filesystem become read-only?
  • What is the safest way to fix this without reinstalling the OS?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Yes, this is now a known bug. All you need to do is disable IPv6. The best place to do this is on the interface where you have your internet connection, which in most cases is the Wi-Fi interface where you are connected to your Wi-Fi network.

Simply disable IPv6 there and you're good to go.

If you want, I can also send you instructions on how to disable IPv6 globally, but that's not absolutely necessary.

This bug should be removed with the update to 25.0.10, but unfortainly it is still there.

The read-only directory's are a feature, read this:https://www.deepin.org/en/deepin-25-pre-inmutable-system/

Have fun with Deepin Linux. :)

Title: System freeze on login screen with AMD Ryzen 5 3400G (Deepin 25 Community)

System Information:

  • OS: Deepin 25 Community Edition
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
  • GPU: Integrated AMD Radeon Vega Graphics
  • RAM: 12 GB
  • Storage: 512 GB SSD
  • Motherboard: MSI B450
  • Kernel: (please specify using uname -r)

Problem Description:
My system frequently freezes when using Deepin OS after upgrading from Intel i5 6th generation to AMD Ryzen 5 3400G. The issue did not exist on Intel hardware.

Recently, the system also freezes on the login screen before entering the desktop. The screen becomes completely unresponsive, and neither mouse nor keyboard works. The only solution is to force shutdown by pressing the power button.

I have attached a screenshot showing the system freeze at the login screen.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Boot the system into Deepin OS.
  2. Wait at the login screen or try to log in.
  3. After some time, the system freezes completely.

Expected Behavior:
The system should remain stable and allow login without freezing.

Actual Behavior:
The login screen becomes unresponsive randomly.

Frequency:
This issue occurs frequently and randomly.

What I Have Tried:

  • Updated system packages.
  • Installed AMD firmware and graphics drivers.
  • Checked hardware in Windows (no freezing).
  • Verified RAM and SSD health.
  • Disabled power saving options.

Additional Observations:
This seems related to AMD graphics driver, kernel compatibility, or Deepin desktop environment. Since the issue also happens before login, it may be related to the display manager or GPU initialization.

Please let me know if logs such as dmesg, journalctl, or Xorg logs are required. I am willing to provide more details.

I have the very same bug unfortunately. 🙂 Ipv6 is not the case 'cause I never use Wi-Fi and only do mobile broadband connection to access the internet.

Speaking about more traditional "sudo apt install", that doesn't work neither. I cannot install any DEB like "sudo apt install mc" for example. It just cannot find any such app.

Only "sudo apt install org.mc.something" does work instead. However it's not a DEB-package but a Linglong ar Linyapp container package.
