Dear moderators, thank you for the notice and for the effort you put into maintaining this neat OS!

After updating to the latest release, I have noticed that the App Store is not working properly. Some pages are not loading, making it impossible to download or manage applications. Please see the attached screenshot. I wonder if you are aware of this issue. If you need more samples (screenshots, videos, etc.), please reach out to me. Thank you in advance for any support you may provide

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to provide this detailed feedback! We truly appreciate it.

To help our developers investigate the App Store loading issue you've described, could you please provide us with the following information?

  1. Could you let us know which country or region you are located in?
  2. Was the App Store functioning correctly before you applied the latest system update?
  3. As a troubleshooting step, could you please try manually disabling IPv6 in your network settings and see if the App Store pages load normally afterward? You can find this option here:
    • Go to Control Center -> Network -> Your active connection -> Settings -> IPV6 and switch it to "Disable" .

In the meantime, we will forward your report, along with the screenshot you provided, to our R&D team for further investigation. We appreciate your patience and cooperation!

Thank you for your feedback and for your support of our OS. We appreciate you taking the time to report these issues.

Regarding the two points you raised:

  1. Installation & Partition Customization:
You are correct that the "Install alongside other systems" option is designed for simplicity and automatically handles partition allocation, which limits customization.
However, the deepin installer does fully support manual partitioning. If you need to personalize your target partition, please select the "Manual Installation" mode during the setup process. This will allow you to create, resize, or format partitions exactly as you wish. Please note that while you can manually create a partition for deepin alongside another OS, true "partition sharing" for system files between different operating systems is generally not supported for stability and security reasons.
  2. The Store Issue:
Could you please provide more details about the problem you are experiencing with the App Store?Screenshots or a more detailed description would be extremely helpful for our developers to diagnose and fix the issue.

We will forward your installation experience feedback to our team for future consideration. Thank you again for helping us improve deepin!
