如果try模式可以正常进入系统,但是安装完毕后无法进入桌面,或者只显示壁纸,初步判断可能和treeland有关,可以尝试 Safe graphics 安全图形模式,也可以使用传统x11模式。
Thanks for the response. I have translated into English.
If you can enter the system normally in try mode, but cannot enter the desktop after installation, or only the wallpaper is displayed, it is initially judged that it may be related to Treeland. You can try Safe graphics mode, or you can use the traditional x11 mode.
I have now posted the log at https://hastebin.com/share/tafatumuye.rust .
On this Thinkpad T480 Lenovo 20L6S3SU00, I have two graphics processors: NVidia GeForce MX150 (discrete) and Intel UHD Graphics 620 (integrated).
I edited GRUB on the line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT to add "nomodeset". I had previously removed the "quiet splash" to get verbose messages.
The boot has stopped at:
Started slice system-deepin\x2dservice\x2dgroup.slice - Slice /system/deepin-service-group.
Started deep-service-group@app.service - deepin-service-manager
Is there another way to restart in Safe Graphics mode? Or is there another way to switch to X11? I haven't got a Control Centre to configure.
Can you upload a screen record video?
and end up with wallpaper and no desktop.
If you right-click on the wallpaper, will a menu appears? If so, you can try access the terminal from that menu.
If so, you can try to run dde-control-center -s to bring up the control center and see if there are system updates (should have update) and see if updating the system could fix the issue.
If not, you can switch to tty and see if you can preform update via sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade. You can provide the output of systemctl --user status dde-shell@DDE.service here.
Can you upload a screen record video?
Sorry, no video capture, because all I get is wallpaper.
There should be more clues in the log. https://hastebin.com/share/tafatumuye.rust

You can use the phone to get a video.
I had added the nomodeset to Grub that resulted in not even completing the boot. To resolve this, I reinstalled (again). After login, I got the blank screen, so I did Ctrl+Alt+F2 and removed the quiet splash from Grub.
As requested, @zccrs , there's not a video at https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZtxzZSYeyPHzZz4W6 . You can see the verbose boot. There's a little shake, as I enter the password with one hand. Then nothing happens ... and it will stay that way until I turn the computer off.
On your suggestions, @BLumia , I'm not getting as far as a desktop, so no right-mouse-button action. I did a Ctrl+Alt-F2 and tried to run the dde-control-center -s , but I guess you need a desktop to do that. The output of systemctl --user status dde-shell@DDE.service is in this photo at https://photos.app.goo.gl/LCGGkj9d88DrAXXA9 .
I think the log may be more helpful, so I've posted that at https://hastebin.com/share/daxugigeki.rust .
For 克亮 , I still can't figure out how to switch to X11, if I don't yet have a desktop working. I thought the nomodeset in Grub might work, but the changes stalls the load.

In tty, did you try upgrade the system and see if that (upgrade and reboot) fixes the issue?
The dde-shell status shows it's running, it's a bit weird you cannot see the desktop. Just to be clear, before you preform install, can you use the desktop in the live environment provided by the ISO image?
Regard to x11, we use x11 by default in deepin 25 (at least the version you got).
Yes, @BLumia , on a previous try (I've reinstalled about 6 times) from TTY, I did an upgrade and reboot. The problem was the same.
Thanks for confirming that dde-shell status is running. On the first installation attempt, I chose the Try option, and had the desktop running in the live environment. Then I installed, to get a similar result.
Are you sure that X11 is running? In the log at https://hastebin.com/share/daxugigeki.rust , I see mentions of Treeland, but maybe that's failing? Around line 133 ...

Are you sure that X11 is running?
I'm pretty sure x11 will be used by default as long as you never switch it in the Control Center, which you won't even be able to access if you haven't be able to login into the desktop environment.
You can also manually switch to treeland session by disable lightdm and enable ddm then reboot. I believe you didn't do this previously so you are very unlikely attempt to login to treeland session.
My blind guess is deepin-service-manager service failed and cause other stuff broken, but not exactly sure why it could fail. Could you check sudo coredumpctl list and see if the last few coredump contains deepin-service-manager? If so, getting the related stacktrace might be useful I guess.
Success! Thanks, @BLumia . I tried the manual switch to treeland session. I started the TTY with a Ctrl+Alt+F2. Then ...
sudo systemctl disable lightdm
.. and then ...
sudo systemctl enable ddm.service
... and a restart with ...
sudo reboot now
It's good to see a normal desktop!
Not sure why x11 session is broken...
For the treeland session, just be aware the treeland session is pretty much experimental so it might have many issues. We are still working on improving it and adding features to it btw.

The installation of deepin-desktop-community-25.0.1-amd64.iso using Ventoy seems to have been successful on a multi-boot Thinkpad T480, multiple times, with the 6.6 and 6.12 kernel. Using the power button, I can turn off the computer and restart. In each case, I can enter the password to login, but I only see a blank screen, and no desktop.
To check whether it's my hardware, I downloaded deepin-desktop-community-23.1-amd64.iso and installed that. This seemed successful, and the desktop appeared. I then trying 25.0.1 again, and end up with wallpaper and no desktop.
Please advise what I might do next. Is there another version 25 that I could try?
