Dear Deepin Team,

First of all, thank you for your continuous effort in developing such a visually appealing and user-friendly Linux distribution. I truly appreciate the work you’re doing to bring innovation and elegance to the Linux desktop.

I would like to report an issue and make a constructive suggestion regarding NVIDIA GPU support on hybrid graphics laptops (commonly Intel + NVIDIA). Currently, Deepin lacks proper integration with NVIDIA PRIME, which makes it very difficult, or even impossible, for users to switch between integrated and dedicated GPUs in a clean and user-friendly way.

It would be extremely valuable for Deepin to include:

  • Native support for nvidia-prime or an equivalent switching mechanism.
  • A control center GUI option to switch between "Intel Only", "NVIDIA Only", and "Hybrid" modes.
  • Better handling of hybrid GPU setups during installation and boot.
  • Auto-detection of GPU and configuration of X accordingly.

These are already implemented in other distributions, and would greatly improve Deepin's usability on modern laptops. I believe that making this area more robust would attract more users who rely on NVIDIA hardware, especially professionals and gamers.

Thank you again for your time and dedication. I hope this feedback helps, and I look forward to seeing continued improvements in future releases.
