The deepin V23 RC version has made major changes to improve linglong's design. After the upgrade, some of the original Linglong applications may become unusable. In response to this problem, we provide the Linglong repair tool. After the user upgrades to the RC version, if the user has installed Linglong applications before, after the upgrade, the user can run the Linglong repair tool in the launchpad to restore some of the original Linglong applications.
Instructions for use
When upgrading from the old version (deepin v23 beta), if there are old Linglong applications, the 'Linglong Repair Tool' will be displayed in the launchpad (as shown below). Running this tool from the launchpad will reinstall the new Linglong application. After the repair is completed, the tool will automatically disappear from the launcher. (If the old Linglong application does not exist in the new linglong repo, the installation may fail)
Note: If the previous Linglong application fails to be restored after the user clicks the Linglong repair tool, the user can manually install the corresponding Linglong application for recovery. If the manual installation still fails, it may be that the old Linglong application does not exist in the new Linglong repo.
