If you visit /root with admin, it won't take you to home folder. On my computer, although it shows it is in home folder, it is actually in /root.
Try this ,use Terminal
sudo cd /root/.minecraft
I was able to access it through terminal with this:-
su
cd /root/.minecraft/
then cd saves.
now how do i copy files into this folder?
sudo cp *** /root/.minecraft
sudo cp *** /root/.minecraft
thanks, i was able to play in a one chunk world finally. minecraft crashed at first, but worked when i opened it again.
You shouldnt be running minecraft as root
Hi everyone, Im new to deepin, and i need help in accessing the root folder.
I recently installed TLauncher, a Minecraft Launcher. And it has created a folder in /root as /.minecraft . I need to get a custom map to the game, but i need to go to /root/.minecraft . And when i try to access it through the search bar with the search being /root, it leads me to the home folder, please help me.
I also tried to use the open as administrator button, it takes me to home folder again.
