Hi
I have an HP Omen gaming laptop that has a hybrid driver set-uo i.e both Nvidia and Intel
The laptop is connected to a Toshiba Dynadock which in turn has an HDMI connection to a Dell monitor
When I was on linux mint Mate, I had no problem with dual screen - i.e it recognised it right aweay when I went into display settings
Thereafter, the Dell monitor came to life as soon as I got to boot password entry screen
Sadly, my monitor is not recognised in DDE
I downloaded the Graphic display manager utility which suggested I try bumblee
So I selected that option but it failed to boot properly initially and the system went back through another boot cycle before letting me log into desktop
I then got an error message that the Intel driver had been restored due to a problem with bumbleebee
Grateful for your advice
Regards
R
