    I want to use ibus in Deepin 20 to use a local keyboard (Bengali).

    How to enable ibus in Deepin 20?

    I tried installing ibus and added that local keyboard. But ibus input method is not working. System still using default input method of Deepin. How to switch to ibus?

    you can create a file .xprofile at /home with content as

    export GTK_IM_MODULE=ibus
    export XMODIFIERS=@im=ibus
    export QT_IM_MODULE=ibus
    ibus-daemon -drx

    then reboot you system
