Hi,

I have a Laptop 4k display and an external monitor 2k display. The dpi is same in both the monitors if I want to use 4k in laptop the external monitor dpi is 2 times the laptop display, so I have to reduce the resolution to 1920x1080 at the laptop to use the external monitor. Other OS's are coming up with different dpi for different monitors, feature. Can this be done in Deepin too? Will this be added to the upcoming V20? https://bbs.deepin.org/user/101846

Trying to use  'xrandr --scale 2x2 ' for the 2k monitor if your graphic card is powerful enough.

Yes, I tried all these, but no use. The --scale makes the monitor resolution virtually twice ( or whatever the scale value is).

My laptop has 4k monitor, and I also connect a 1080p external monitor to it. I scale the 1080p 2x and the virtual resolution is the same as the 4k internal monitor.

Then I set the screen scale factor to 2 in the system settings. After that, every things looks good.
