First of all hello and glad to join this community.

I have two laptops Asus X555LA and Asus K53SD (ancient machine) both run their own mouse touchpad drivers which Asus calls it "Asus Smart Gesture Driver" and you have to install Asus's software to be able to properly work with the touchpads. Now I can do basic work with the touchpad on Deepin however the following have issues:

1. Cannot disable the touchpad
2. Palm detect is broken
3. Sensitivity is not adjustable properly

Now I got around it by installing some Linux apps and binaries, but it'd be nice to see the drivers updated accordingly for future releases. Ubuntu already have addressed this issue with their OS and never had that problem with their system.

Also are there any users who have battery efficiency problems? I dual boot Windows and Deepin, and got to say Deepin eats through my battery, while Windows lasts much longer. The average time with windows is 8 hrs for me and on Deepin is just 3. Any suggestions would be helpful. (
