Why is ~/.Xmodmap info lost with lock screen?

Hey!
I have some custom configurations done to my keyboard. This worked when I initially started using but at some point the configuration started to get lost when screen was locked. Now I alwayws have to type in this after logging back in:
xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap
Copy the Code
Could anybody help with this? Thank you!
