    I installed Ubuntu Mate on another partition for testingIn the process I lost my deepin grub theme


    I tried to fix this with


    sudo grup-update

    sudo grub-install

    I tried changing the boot properties in the last box of the deepin settings panel.. it says it worked but it did not do anythingI
    I tried the repair tool, but that also said it was successful but did not work.

    After destroying my grub and doing boot-repair I decided to reinstall.  Too bad there was no answer.

    I suspect that the grub in the  main  efi directory was a different one.  or the trusted one was the ubuntu one.  Or something.  even grub customizer thought all was well.  Not sure what it was but it would be good to fix because Deepin users are likely to have multiple linux distros on one machine

    I would still like to know how to fix it.  It seems that grub was installed twice on the efi directory but not getting linked.
