    • How can I make Deepin Editor show text correctly?

    I have saved some Arabic text using default settings (UTF-8), Characters show correctly while editing, but saving and opening the file again results in non-comprehensible text. How can I solve that?
    I tried to open txt file in WPS Writer, and it works.

    I have the same problem. Press F5 after opening the file.

    I have to choose UTF8 again (even when it's already chosen), then F5 works.

    Of course, I'll have to do that every time I open an Arabic file
