Hello everyone, i am having an strange issue with my system. When i try to play an video online with youtube on chrome or even locally with VLC for example, the video freezes for a few seconds but the audio keeps playing. I dont know why this is happeing, if is hardware related or a system issue.
I tried the following to fix this issue:
1 - Kernel Update to 4.16.3 (Latest Kernel signed by Canonical) - Maybe i will try to update to 4.19.5 (Unsigned)
2 - Disabled hardware acceleration on Chrome (I think that fixed here, but offile playes like VLC, the issue still persists)
3 - Update to proprietary Drivers (NVIDIA), my system is hybrid and have INTEL 520 and NVIDIA 940M
4 - System updates installed (Didnt fixed the issue)
Syestem Specs:
PROCESSOR: Intel I5-6200U 6th Gen Skylake Processor
MEMORY: 1 TB Hard Drive
8 GB Ram
VIDEO: Intel HD Graphics 520 and NVIDIA 940M
RESOLUTION: 1366x768
BRAND: ASUS
MODEL: X555UB
BIOS: American Megatrends 3.x (UPDATED)
