    example: I'm running 15.5 on my box and want to upgrade to whatever is the latest release (which is 15.7 currently).

    Open terminal and type sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade, greetings!

    Yes, the only problem is that in the case of a system version upgrade you won't see any info like in terminal, so if problem occurs, you won't know about the exact cause.
